A magical journey that takes you to the most surprising and significant sites of the Citadel of the Inca in Cusco, it was considered a sacred place and where the Incas believed that it was "the navel of the world", hence its real name "Qosqo".
Today it is a fascinating mix of Inca and Spanish Colonial architecture, colonial churches, monasteries, convents and Inca remains that are found on every corner, many streets are lined with perfect stones that served as the basis for Spanish constructions.
We will visit the Great Cathedral of Cusco, the Temple of Koricancha, the gigantic fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the labyrinths of Qenko and Tambomachay.
ITINERARY:
Place of departure: Pick up from your hotel in Cusco.
Departure Time: from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Important / NOTE:
AM/PM. We start the excursion visiting the Cathedral that was built between 1560 and 1664 that houses important collections of goldsmiths from the colonial era, wooden altars and a beautiful collection of paintings from the Cusco School. We will also visit Koricancha and the Santo Domingo Convent also called "Temple of the Sun". Then we will explore Sacsayhuaman considered the greatest architectural work that the Incas made. From the fortress you can see a unique panoramic view of the surroundings, including the city of Cusco.
AM/PM. We will visit the Kenko ruins or Qenko archaeological center located 6 km. from the city, it houses the impressive rocks carved in the Cusco area.
AM/PM. Then we will visit Puca Pucara which is a military construction, it functioned as an administrative center, it has platforms, superimposed terraces, stairways and passages.
AM/PM. As a last point we will go to Tambomachay it was destined to the cult of water. It consists of a series of aqueducts, channels and several waterfalls that run through the rocks.
At the end of our visit we will return to the city of Cusco between 00:00 hrs. and 00:00 hrs.
