We pick you up from the airport for your transfer to the Reducto hostel located 7 blocks from downtown Miraflores. The rest of the day is free to discover Lima.
09.00 am. We visit the Historic Center of Lima, the museum of the central reserve bank, where you will appreciate the "Collection Treasures of Peru", a select exhibition of gold objects, ceramics and textiles from various pre-Columbian cultures.
10:40 am You will visit the monumental complex of San Francisco, which constitutes the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. The visit to its underground crypts known as "Catacombs" stands out. In addition, you will get to know the modern part with the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. During the tour we will make a stop at Parque el Amor.
The afternoon is free to continue discovering the capital.
07.00 am. Transfer to the bus station to Ica.
12.00 pm. Arrival to the city of Ica where they will be transferred to the lodging house.
At the indicated time we will explore the Huacachina Lagoon, then we will venture into the tubular cars for an exciting tour through the Ica desert. During the tour you can practice sandboarding and enjoy the sunset.
18.30 pm. We will return to the lodging house.
Previous coordination we left early to the city of Nasca. On the way we make a stop at the Nasca viewpoint so that you can see 2 of the Nasca figures; the "Hand" and the "Tree."
According to the weather and air traffic, we will indicate the time of the overpass to the Nasca lines (duration 30 min.). There are those who believe that these lines are an astronomical calendar, the largest scale in the world. And another theory is that they are images of magical origin that were worshiped.
Later we continue towards the Cantalloc aqueducts, which consists of 40 underground channels, an example of the high development that this culture had in terms of hydraulic engineering.
We will also visit the Paredones, an archaeological complex that worked in the time of the Incas. Inside you can see some deposits, a large plaza, barracks and a ceremonial area.
You will have time to have lunch in Nasca and from there we continue to the gold and ceramic processes where you will appreciate the extraction of minerals from the region.
Finally, you will visit the ceramic workshop where you will be able to appreciate how the ancient Nazcas worked with ceramics.
We finish the day return to Ica.
07:40 am. Transfer to the tourist pier in Paracas.
08:00 am. Walk to the Ballestas Islands passing through the gigantic panorama of the 1 meter deep chandelier carved in the Paracas peninsula. They will continue to the islands where they will see a great diversity of marine fauna. (duration 2 hours approx.)
10:00 am. Upon their return from the Islands, they will be given free time to visit the Chaco boulevard, where they will be able to see some crafts made by the locals.
14:00 pm. Transfer to the bus station for your return to Lima.
