This experience can be complemented with a visit to the Chauchilla Cemetery, Cahuachi Ceremonial Center or a visit to the National Reserve, which can be added at the end of the reservation process.
We are waiting for you in Ica where you will start your day (in case you want private mobility or bus tickets from Lima, please request it) with the city tour of the city where you will also visit its famous vineyards. Ica is known for its production of Piscos and very high quality wines, you can observe the distillation process of an artisan or industrial winery.
Then we will visit the Huacachina lagoon which is surrounded by dunes and palm trees. After a brief explanation about the history that surrounds this lagoon, you will enjoy a ride in tubular cars (dune buggy) over the Iqueño desert, during this ride you will be able to practice the sand sport known as Sandboarding and you will be able to appreciate the sunset.
One day before we will indicate your overflight time, which is programmed by the airline, it should be noted that this time is referential since it is subject to delays due to climate change or air traffic.
According to the overflight schedule, we will transfer you from the city of Ica to Nasca.
Overflight over the Nasca lines (duration 30 min.). Later you will proceed your walk to the archaeological sites, we will begin with the Aqueducts that consists of 40 underground channels used by the Nasca culture to obtain water.
Then you will visit the ruins of Paredones which is an archaeological center that flourished in Inca times.
As a last point we will visit the gold and ceramic process, a very important source of economic income for this region, and you will also be able to see how the ancient Nasca prepared their ceramics.
Overnight at chosen hotel
6:30 am We leave from Ica to Paracas
08:00 am The tour to the Ballestas Islands begins, which takes about two hours, during this tour you will be able to appreciate the panorama of the gigantic chandelier of 1 meter deep carved in the paracas peninsula, then you will continue to the Islands where you will see penguins of Humboldt, sea lions and varieties of birds, and with a bit of luck you could also spot dolphins.
10:00 am. Upon their return from the Islands, they will be given free time to visit the Chaco boulevard, where they will be able to see some crafts made by the locals.
Prior coordination, you will be transferred to your hotel or bus station.
