We arrive at the charming hotel of Villa Jazmin at the end of the residential area La Angostura. It is a very tranquil place to stay. The hotel is really like a big house and that is how it looks like from outside. It has big wooden doors which leads you to the hotel reception and its small lobby. It is refreshing entering the hotel since it is really hot outside. The reception is nice and modern with friendly personnel. The lobby is small with some couches and tables of wood with big blue pillows on it. A very rustic but nice lobby with some modern art on the wall. Close to the reception is the small restaurant of the hotel where breakfast is served. The chairs and tables are of wood with a nice half open kitchen. It gives you the feeling of being at home. There are some computers guests can use near the reception and there is a small gift shop.
We then step outside and arrive at the swimming pool of the hotel. Near the pool are chairs and umbrellas for some sunbathing and necessary shade. In the middle of the pool is a small bar with a thatched roof which gives a tropical feeling. Around the pool and towards the room is the garden of the hotel with some flowers and a bamboo fence. This hotel also has a kind of patio where the rooms are situated. For the rooms on the second level is a double stair with a wooden railing to hold on to covered with plants. There is also a small fountain below in the garden. Once above we visit some rooms. Rooms are basic and rustic, but with all commodities and very clean and charming. Rooms have a desk with mirror, comfortable beds, television and a bathroom with shower. The bathroom is covered with small blue ceramics and is very spacious. The room has a ventilator on the ceiling and the windows can be covered with some nice curtains. The sheets are in warm colors of beige and orange. From the hotel you can see the high sand dunes while you swim around in the pool. Water is being warmed up with solar energy. It is a nice hotel for people who search a tranquil place to stay at night. The hotel ambience is very personal which makes you feel at home. A nice and cute little hotel. |
