We arrive at Hotel Las Dunas. It is a big complex in which you enter through big doors passing the parking lot of the hotel first. Entering the hotel you first pass the lobby with chairs, a small pond with fountain and some plants. The reception is big with friendly staff who provide you with a card for the free pisco sour as the welcoming drink and a map of the hotel complex. We now visit the public areas of the hotel.

We pass through a large corridor where you can observe ceramics of the ancient cultures of the region like the Paracas and Nazca culture. We pass the convention center and arrive at the restaurant of the hotel. Actually most people eat outside because of the ideal climate. Outside you see the swimming pool of the hotel surrounded by chairs for some sunbathing. The pool is divided in an area for children and for adults. There is a bar for drinks and personnel pass by the chairs to serve you as well. Near the pool is the outdoor restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious buffet. Passing the pool you see a small gym for some exercising, toilets and showers till arriving at the playground for children where there is a tennis court as well. Furthermore you find a green field there where you can enjoy lunch as well in buffet form. This is also ideal for events.

Towards the rooms you pass a pond some bridges and you will see a type of bungalow style rooms. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. All have a small place to sit and enjoy a drink from the minibar, a bathroom, comfortable beds, fan and some with air conditioning. Some rooms have a terrace with view on the pond and the large garden of the hotel. This hotel is ideal for events and for a nice weekend with the children. If you like tranquility and peace this is not your type of hotel. The hotel organizes activities for children and has nights with music and disco. Your children will enjoy themselves a lot and you can just relax as a parent near the pool with a drink. The perfect family hotel.
