Hotel review by our travel expert
We arrive at the Casa Andina hotel in Nazca near the Plaza de Armas. This hotel is a Peruvian hotel chain consisting in classic hotels like Casa Andina Nazca and private collection hotels. The facade looks beautiful and invites you stepping in. The reception receives a lot of natural light, has a cool temperature and a pleasant odor; perfect in comparison with the extreme heat of Nazca. The receptionist is very friendly and even knew our names. The reception has some chairs and offers to its guests a free cup of coca tea or coffee.
We start looking around the hotel. The hotel has a small rectangular patio full of palm trees and other vegetation. The stairs and the rails in the corridors are from light-colored wood. This hotel is built in a coastal style with a modern welcoming rustic touch. The wood and palm trees give you a tropical feeling. The patio has some small terraces to relax. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with a terrace for some sunbathing. There is a bar and the swimming pool is surrounded by wooden roofs for some shadow fully covered with flowers in beautiful colors. The hotel restaurant has very bright colors; Andean style and offers its guests a delicious buffet breakfast. There is a small gift shop and an ATM machine close to the reception of the hotel and it has a parking place.
The rooms have the typical Casa Andina style with deep red and brown colors, big comfortable beds and all comfort like safe, wifi, air conditioning, phone etc. Rooms smell lovely and fresh and are very clean. Each Casa Andina hotel has a typical smell which you will notice in all hotel areas from reception till your room. The hotel offers laundry service and also some tours. The superior room is bigger than the standard rooms and has a separate living room with minibar and they have a Jacuzzi. This hotel is also friendly to people who smoke. You can smoke in public areas of the hotel and there are 6 rooms for smokers. A really nice hotel in a very central location which guarantees a perfect stay in this city. |
